On Sunday we hiked up the famous Platteklip Gorge, a favourite with local hikers and tourists. The weather was perfect, there was no wind blowing.

Please note, on this particular hike, it’s important to bring enough food and snacks, especially water. If not, you can easily get dehydrated and this could be a big problem! There’s no place to buy water on the way up, you can only buy from the restaurant at the top.

So bring money too, if you want to go to the restaurant and if you want to take the cable car down.
