Hi everyone, I’m Behzad and I’m an intern at IH Cape Town.
Today I want to share some information about Cape Town, particularly Sea Point, where our school is located.
Sea Point has a diversity of cultural restaurants and bars, which will suit students of all ages. What is more, it’s a lovely place for families with its many beaches and playgrounds, as well as a long promenade to walk, skate and run on.
I would like to recommend some of these awesome places, where you can hang out with your friends and family:
First of all I’m gonna talk about my favourite restaurant in Sea Point. It’s called Primi and it’s an Italian restaurant with an enjoyable atmosphere. Primi is open from breakfast to dinner, with a large menu filled with everything you could desire.
Breakfast dishes range from a simple omelette to traditional breakfasts with eggs, . Primi offers meals like pasta, pizza and light salads as well.
This place offers Halal food for Muslim people.
For those of you who’re really into coffee, I can highly recommend this coffee shop to you coz it’s only 100m away from IH. On the other hand it’s a nice place to chill with your friends and have some snacks. Honestly, for me the most delicious thing to buy there is banana bread. At least four times a week I go there to either enjoy their tasty breakfast or to buy a small snack after school.
By the way, there are two Bootlegger shops in Sea Point; one is on Regent road, and the other is in Center Point on the second floor above Checkers.
3.STONES (POOL BAR)
The last place I’d like to talk about for today is a pub where you can play pool and have a drink on a lovely balcony with an amazing view.
Normally I go there on the weekend to hang out with other students and enjoy my time. It’s like our school’s living room coz everybody loves to spend time there and you can always find at least one of our students chilling there.
I look forward to seeing you in one of these places…
