Tours & Socials

Cape Town has many diverse and interesting tours to offer visitors, and we encourage our students to speak to our Student Co-ordinator for more information on what is available and for customized outings.

In a nutshell, here are some examples of the tours available to students in Cape Town

IH Cape Town works closely with a number of Tour partners, and the following tours have proved popular with our past students although are by no means all that is on offer:

BOKBUS

Bokbus is popular for their 2 day safari (1 night in Hermanus & 1 night in the 4 star garden route game lodge). This is good value for money especially at this time of the year as students can see whales and then the big 5 the following day. Included in this tour: Dinner, Bed & Breakfast; Cheetah walk & a visit to the reptile park.
They also have a 4 day garden route  amongst others.

HOTSPOTS2C

Hotspots2c this company has a well-liked garden route 4 day adventure tour, which includes a bit of this and that i.e. Safari, Bungy jump to mention a few.

CAPE TO ADDO

Cape to Addo which is self explanatory but offer many other tours, this company is well known for their one way trips in other words, they have a 7 day tour (return) that goes all the way to Addo but you have the option to stop after five days and make your way back to CAPE TOWN on your own or anywhere else, perhaps if you have a flight to catch or something.

THE BAZBUS co.

The Bazbus co. is also popular and this is one way of travelling (hop on and off as you please) on the garden route. They pick you up and drop you off at any backpacker of your choice on their lists.
