Ideally situated, our economy accommodation is just a 10-minute walk from our centre, the beaches, Sea Point Boardwalk and a variety of cafes, restaurants, convenience stores and boutiques. Our economy accommodation is perfect for budget travellers and accommodates additional foreign nationals also on holiday in Cape Town.

Superior Accommodation – ih Lodge
Milton Lodge is a self-catering house centrally located in Sea Point. The area around the house is packed with coffee shops, restaurants and internet cafes.
Crisp white linens and towels are standard and oversize couches and a big flat screen television & cable TV completes the home-away-from-home feeling. Facilities include a communal kitchen, lounge and a dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped, complete with a Eurogas Cooker. There is a braai (barbeque) area as well as laundry facilities.

Superior Accommodation – ih Flats
These 10 newly-renovated rooms are within a secure apartment complex and are tastefully decorated. It is set amongst the many cafes, restaurants and boutiques of the bustling Regent Road and is 200 metres from the IH Cape Town Language Centre. The accommodation also has a fully-fitted kitchen for students to use. Students who choose this accommodation will be given a breakfast voucher for a local cafe.

The variety of guesthouses within the Sea Point area, give our students the option to live in more luxurious types of individually run guesthouses that offer a more personal service.
Cape Town is renowned for its backpacking industry, which has now moved onto greater levels and are often referred to as flashbackers. An abundance of them can be found near IH Cape Town and can be reached within walking distance or by a short taxi ride.

Superior Homestay
This choice of accommodation is perfect for students wanting to experience the South African culture while learning English. Students are accommodated in a comfortable room either on their own or sharing with a friend. Our students are carefully matched with a family which is why we ask for students to send as much information about themselves as possible.
Students will be provided with the following:

Laundry can be arranged between students and families. However, launderettes are available in the area.
