Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden

Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens English Language Course This botanical garden is world-renowned for the beauty and diversity of the Cape Flora it displays and for the magnificence of its setting against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. Kirstenbosch grows only indigenous South African plants. The estate covers 528 hectares and supports a diverse fynbos flora and natural forest. The cultivated garden (36 hectares) displays collections of South African plants, particularly those from the winter rainfall region of the country.
In summer it hosts a number of live music shows. Once a week on a Sunday you can enjoy the South African musical talents sitting in the beautiful gardens of Kirstenbosch. The Summer Concerts are well known for their beautiful location and the amazing atmosphere.
You can even just pack a picnic and enjoy the breathtaking nature that surrounds you. From the top gardens you have a view of the city below you and from everywhere in the gardens you can marvel at the majestic giant that is known as Cape Town’s icon, Table Mountain.

Adults: R35
Students (with card): R20
Children: R10
Under 6 yrs: Free
Senior Citizens (with ID): Free on Tuesdays, except on public holidays
