Sexpo 2010
Sexpo is coming back to Cape Town this November and once again promises to be as big as ever. All the usual gang will make an appearance, from the chapel of love where couples are pressured into being married live at the event to the ever popular Prickasso – Penis painter extraordinaire.
The Sexpo series of events happening at three key locations around South Africa including Durban was launched after a rather successful poll was taken to determine how ‘raunchy’ your garden variety South African really is. The results came back with the astonishing findings that the average South African was in fact more experimental in bed than many of the competing nations (phew)!
So the infamous Sexpo was started and has since enjoyed massive success in the form of attendance, product sales and participation. The show has something for everyone – there are sex talks; sex toys; shows; marriage; porn star meet-and-greet and even a gentlemen aptly named ‘Prickasso’, who does portraits of couples stark naked using his penis as the paintbrush (loses something in translation).
The Sexpo is worth a day out of the house and is the legitimate sex traders dream. There is a lot to see, some things are worth a second look so can have you going back for more. Bigger, Sexier.
Venue: Cape Town International Convention Centre, Cape Town
