Hynotist Show at its best
If a night of good, old fashioned family fun is what you are looking for, look no further! Andre The Hilarious Hypnotist comes to Theatre on the Bay with his side-splitting one man show…or, at least one man and a heap of volunteers R for a limited, three-week season. Trained by the world’s greatest hypnotist Max Collie, Andre is best known for his ability to make people jump around on stage at the snap of a finger. Andre makes his volunteers speak moon language, forget their names, impersonate chickens and perform a host of other routines guaranteed to have you in stitches of laughter! Andre has been able to coax people into being anything from a sprinkler system or the Lone Ranger riding a “pool noodle”, to a Tango dancer in South America – and that’s just start! 46664 Its No Joke will be staged at the Grand Arena at Grand West Casino Complex in Cape Town on Sunday, 1st of August, 2010.
Due to the overwhelming success of the show at Sun City, and at the Sandton Convention Centre, Real Concerts are happy to announce that this hugely successful show is now coming to Cape Town.
The slick, funny MC of the last three events, Darren ‘Whackhead’ Simpson, will once again take to the stage with South Africa’s top ten comedians to support the 46664 campaign. On the line up will be Barry Hilton, Chris Forrest, David Kau, John Vlismas, Marc Lottering, Ndumiso Lindi, Nik Rabinowitz, Riaad Moosa, Trevor Noah and Tumi Morake.

Franschhoek Bastille Festival
Franschhoek, South Africa’s Gourmet Capital, will once again celebrate its centuries-old French Huguenot heritage with a wonderful feast of food, wine and entertainment at its annual Bastille Festival on the weekend of July 17 and 18.
The theme of heavenly cuisine and fine wines is the order of the day and threaded throughout the Festival. Enjoy this gastronomic affair in style, as chefs and winemakers showcase Franschhoek’s crème de la crème. Award-winning restaurants are composing special menus exclusive to Bastille.
Come along and paint the town red and blue, with entertainment ranging from a French Film Festival at Le Quartier’s Screening Room, to boules, a chefs and waiters race, street soccer, a barrel-rolling contest and fly-fishing competitions. Guests can jive to the tunes of musicians while shopping up a storm at the market stalls and drinking in the wine, food and atmosphere.

Bafunny Bafunny -The Victory Tour
Bafunny Bafunny, SA’s star-studded Comedy Team featuring eight of the funniest South African stand-up comedians, returned home victoriously from London after their magnificent performance at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall. Filled to the brim with fans, the team received a standing ovation from the cheering crowd as they scored laugh after laugh during their “away game” and made history as the first South African Comedy Production to be staged at the Royal Albert Hall.
